Tyke is a handsome, affectionate five-year old neutered male pit bull terrier. Last spring, he
came to Adopt-a-Dog with his buddy, Q.
Tyke is a happy boy, with his tail always wagging. He’s
also quite playful — whenever out in one of the
yards, he enjoys chasing basketballs. He walks
well on a leash and is very curious about his surroundings.
He’s had a tough time the past few
weeks — he lost his buddy, Q. She became very
ill with a liver disease, and the staff ran out of
options for her. The two of them had been together
all their lives.
Tyke is ready for a forever home,
where he can be a loving member of the family.
To
inquire about Tyke, call the Adopt-a-Dog shelter in
Armonk, N.Y., at 914-273-1674, ext. 2, or e-mail
adoptions@adoptadog.org.
This is the first in our 2010 series on adoptable animals.

her to take on four-pawed clients, too. She recently opened a studio at 85 Greenwich Ave.
