How
it works |
| |
After your portrait session, we'll
schedule an order session when you will come back
to view a multi-media display of your images.
During this time, I will show you a variety of cropping
options, as well as differences between black and
white, sepia and color.
You'll have plenty of time to browse through all
the different product options as well as to gauge
which wall portrait suits you best.
Please allow between two and three hours for this
relaxed order process. There is no charge for this
viewing session and I ask that you place your order
during this time.
If you need to return for additional viewing time,
product prices go up by 20%. |

About Makeup |
 |
Beautiful, feminine,
natural makeup makes a huge difference. I'll give
you three options, depending on your budget. |
 |
Professional, commercial
hair/makeup artist onsite, $325 |
 |
I recommend a number
of alternative, less expensive options at nearby
facilities. Please call to discuss options. |
| |

|
|
|
When
should I schedule my shoot? |
 |
I advise six to ten weeks before
your due date, but..... |
 |
Scheduling depends on how your pregnancy
progresses. Schedule earlier if you're slowing down,
schedule when it's convenient and you like your
shape if you're feeling great!
|
| |
What
to bring |
 |
Bring anything you feel comfortable
in and LOVE. |
 |
Pants - jeans (any color), black
pants |
 |
Shirts - big, white, button-down
rumpled man's shirt |
 |
Tanks - anything fitted or stretchy
in solid colors (white, black, red, blue...) |
 |
Avoid patterns, stripes and plaids
unless you love them more than anything. |

|
| |
What
does the photographer provide? |
 |
Lots of background colors including
white, black, brown, gray, green, pink and cream.
Most women opt for white or black, but we can create
whatever suits your taste. |
 |
White and gold drapery |
 |
A big, white sheet
|
| |
How
should I prepare for my shoot? |
 |
Get a manicure and a pedicure a day
or two in advance |
 |
Plan makeup. If you don't opt to
have the onsite makeup artist, you'll get the best
photos if you do your own makeup or visit a makeup
center prior to your shoot. Call to talk about these
options. |
 |
Don't wear anything binding to the
shoot - you don't want marks on your skin.
|
| |

| |
What
should my husband wear? |
 |
Men should bring jeans or khaki pants
or any other dark bottoms |
 |
I encourage rumpled (not starched),
plain white shirts |
 |
Throw a regular, WHITE crew-neck
t-shirt in the bag, too. |
 |
Bring solid, dark colors like black,
dark brown, navy blue and charcoal gray tops and
bottoms. Layers are great; wear the t-shirt under
a crew- or v-neck sweater or jacket. |
|

Do you photograph
newborns? Yes! The add-on is only $450 |
 |
For those maternity
portrait clients who return within one month for
a two-hour shoot, enjoy this specially priced bonus.
Please note that to take advantage of this special
offer, you must book a newborn shoot at the same
time as the maternity shoot. |

|
| |
Do you offer
any referral incentives? |
 |
Personal referrals make up the strongest,
most solid way to grow a business and I value your
goodwill. I will credit you with $100 towards any
presentation item of your choice from prints, memory
books to folios or frames. |
| |

|
| |
Do you offer
gift certificates? |
 |
I offer gift certificates for full
and partial portrait sessions printed on 100% cotton
paper and beautifully gift-wrapped.
"I
wanted to give my daughter something more
than just another onesie or a monogrammed
blanket. I know she'll cherish these photos
forever - and so will her son!"

These images
are extremely private. Can I restrict the photographer's
use? |
 |
This is a common request. I completely
understand that you might not want to share these
very personal images with the world. Just let me
know and I will most certainly respect your privacy.
|
| |
Can
I get a CD or digital files? |
 |
I make a CD with all your proofs
at 4.4x6.7 inches @ 72dpi available for purchase.
This size is perfect for screensavers and emailing
to friends and family. The low-resolution digital
files are not dense enough for printing.
You may purchase the digital negatives for $3,500
as long as you sign an agreement acknowledging that
I own the copyright to the images and that you will
never sell, distribute in any form or otherwise
financially profit from these images.
I do make an exception for birth announcements. |
