Milestone Announcements

The launch of Maternity by Koren has been a huge hit.

Within days of launching MaternitybyKoren, women called not just shopping for a photographer, but intent on booking!

I’m thrilled to say that I passed a client milestone this week by booking my fiftieth maternity portrait session.

I’m more amazed than anyone by the demand for this photography.

THANK YOU for your interest in my work.

Mother's Day is May 14, 2006
Have a dear friend, daughter or wife who is pregnant? Say, "I think you're beautiful" with a maternity portrait gift certificate.

Latest Success with the Nude Series, "I am..."
Heartfelt thanks to Paul Heynneman of Heynneman European who receives my client appreciation acknowledgment of the month.

These exhibition images are all on silver-halide, continuous tone FujiColor Crystal Archive Professional Luster paper and measure 32x42 in their wood frames.

Paul purchased this image from the "I am..." series after seeing it on display at the Aroma Cafe in San Rafael.

If you own a foreign car in the Bay Area, you will not find a mechanic with greater integrity than this auto magician. Read more about him at Heynneman European.

  Tips and Tricks

1.
Best source for Maternity Fashion
In the market for some stylish maternity clothes? Visit the pioneer designer for real women, Japanese Weekend Maternity. They invented the under-belly expander band for maternity pants. The clothes are fabulous.

2. Photoshop user? Here's how to get better color for web images
If you can change your camera's capture color space to Adobe 1998, you'll be capturing the most possible colors. However, when you "Save for Web," you may notice an ugly color shift. To avoid that, flatten your image in Photoshop and change the color profile to sRGB. Then "Save for web" for much more authentic colors.
