Introducing Maternity Photography

KorenReyesPhotography is pleased to announce the launch of MaternitybyKoren, a brand new, luxurious service that grew out of Koren’s critically acclaimed nude series, “I am…”. The nude series features highly stylized, contemporary portraits of women over 40.

Koren launched this lovely specialty to honor the beautiful, fleeting changes of the pregnant woman. Since so many women postpone pregnancy due to careers, family obligations or other personal reasons, many of them find it difficult to conceive – and often at great cost! But when these women do get pregnant, you will not find a happier soul on earth.

"Pregnancy is no longer a just means to an end," says Julia Beck, founder of Forty Weeks, a business that provides consulting and branding advice to companies targeting the expectant and new-parent market. "It is something women are embracing and celebrating."

These women are celebrating this nine-month joy like no other generation ever has. Even though nine months may seem daunting in the beginning, it goes by in a flash. With so many moms remembering how much they loved being pregnant, more and more of them are hiring professional photographers to capture their pregnancy forever.

Koren relishes this happy, joyful time in the lives of moms-to-be. When asked what most of the women look for when hiring Koren, she replied, "The women I photograph are looking for images that represent simplicity and purity. They’re looking for artistic, not literal, interpretations of their body shape. They want a feeling in the images more than a purely documentary capture."

Maternity Photography Portrait Sessions
After about a 90-minute photo session, the photographer will post approximately 150 proofs in both black and white and color to your your own private, password-protected gallery. You'll also receive a lifetime-guaranteed, 2"x3", 10-print memory book from Art Leather.
Includes all of the above, plus full makeup and hair and a 5x7 memory book.
Have a lovely spot with lighting you like? We'll come to you!

  Tips and Tricks

1.
Best source for framing some of those fabulous holiday photos
One of my favorite online sources for framing is American Frame. They have a large selection of those sturdy Nielsen frames, and reasonable prices on the whole nine yards of creating a masterpiece frame. The only drawback? They only offer Plexiglas, no real glass.
2.
PhotoStamps

I guarantee that these stamps (PhotoStamps.com) will be a hit whether you create them and use them or give them as gifts! You need to start with a photo that measures 1.1" square, and abide by their rules and regulations (such as nothing obviously commercial).
