& FAQs > What
to Bring
When should I schedule my
shoot? |
 |
I advise six to ten weeks
before your due date, but..... |
 |
Scheduling depends on how your pregnancy
progresses.
If you're slowing down, schedule earlier.
If you're having multiples, schedule earlier.
If you're feeling great,
schedule when it's convenient and you like your
shape!

|
| What
should I wear for my photo shoot? |
 |
Wear anything you feel comfortable
in and LOVE. Avoid patterns, stripes and plaids
unless you love they are a true representation
of you personality. |
 |
I like solid colors: white,
black and brown |
 |
Pants - jeans (any color), black
pants |
 |
Necklines - select v-necks, squarenecks,
turtlenecks or deep scoop necks. Avoid crewnecks. |
 |
Bring long-sleeved tops, and
preferably any top that opens down the front
if it's not clingy.
|
 |
Shirts - big, white, button-down
rumpled man's shirt |
 |
Tanks - anything fitted or stretchy
in solid colors (white, black, red, blue...) |
 |
Underwear - bring
white, black and nude underwear of any form;
boy shorts, thongs or bikinis. If you don't
have these, don't necessarily go out to buy them.
We'll figure it out...

|
| What should my husband wear to the
photo shoot? |
 |
Men should bring jeans or khaki
pants or any other dark bottoms |
 |
I encourage rumpled (not starched),
plain white shirts |
 |
Throw a regular, WHITE crew-neck
t-shirt in the bag, too. |
 |
Bring solid, dark colors like black,
dark brown, navy blue and charcoal gray tops and
bottoms. Layers are great; wear the t-shirt under
a crew- or v-neck sweater or jacket.

|
| What
should I bring to my photo shoot? |
 |
Bring large or small props that
have meaning. Bring your wedding veil, stuffed
animals, building blocks, flowers...
|
| What
does the photographer provide? |
 |
White and gold drapery |
 |
A big, white sheet

|
| What
should I do in advance of the photo session? |
 |
Get a manicure and a pedicure a day
or two in advance |
 |
Wear makeup! If you don't choose
the full package, you'll get the best results if
you do your own makeup or visit a makeup center
prior to your shoot. Call to talk about these options. |
 |
Don't wear anything binding to the
shoot - you don't want marks on your skin.

|
| What
happens after the shoot? |
 |
I will post several of your images
in a private, password-protected gallery within
24
hours of
your shoot. We'll then make an appointment for
you to return to the studio for your order session.

|
| These
images are extremely private. Can I restrict the
photographer's use? |
 |
This is a common request. I completely
understand that you might not want to share these
very personal images with the world. Just let me
know and I will most certainly respect your privacy.

|
| Can
I get a CD or digital files? |
 |
I make a CD with all your proofs
at 4.4x6.7 inches @ 72dpi available for purchase.
This size is perfect for screensavers and emailing
to friends and family. It is not dense enough for
printing.
High resolution,unprocessed files are available
at $500 each, or an image buyout for $3,000
for all files from your shoot. You must sign a
statement saying you will never, ever sell my photos
no matter how famous you become!
I occasionally sell a finished digital image for
a birth announcement or other personal use.
